Hi. I’m Marko R. Sest. I’m a photographer, wakeboarder, diver, rock’n’roller and a heavy believer that to win in life is to stay forever young (at least at heart!). Or as Mr. Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead simply put it:
If you think you are too old to rock ‘n roll then you are.
I strongly believe that nothing makes you grow faster and more than travelling, exploring new cultures, meeting new people and of course all the unexpected things that happen on the way. A new and exciting place also always gives me the motivation to constantly hold on to my camera and have my take at capturing the moments and sense of the places I visit.
Besides travel stories and tips the blog will be heavily concentrated on travel photography, with photos that I hope will inspire you to visit the countries for yourself. I will also write about the photo gear I use and have used in the past travels, along with photography techniques and tutorials. I’ll try to keep the photography parts of posts separate, so people that don’t care about it will be able to just enjoy the travel part of the post and images.
So, welcome to my blog. I think the name – Travel Photoblography – sums it up quite well. I hope you’ll enjoy reading it.
